I got a lot of helpful advice, thanks. PB is still out of my price
range even with the stepup. My hardware is getting old and my monitor
is really in need of replacement. The other factor is that I am writing
a Basic compiler and don't want to be labeled a plagiarist. Borrowing
concepts would tend to make a bad impression of myself. But the
compiler is strictly for my own consumption. This project is just
something to explore the wonderful world of Assembly Language.
It may or may not work after the 2 or 3 years I have set aside
for the project.
PB will just have to wait for the money, time, and the resolution
of the compiler project. However if I find myself with a windfall,
I will put PB at the top of the list of software to get.
