How much data? I'm using rsync to back up the work T1 to the home cable
modem, and it's damn near transparent. It's not a lot of data, by any
means - only about 10 gb - but between rsynch just backing up the changed
stuff and compression, it transfers in less than half an hour. It works so
well I'm actually doing it three times a day.
