 You were miss reading the drawing. First he Designated the CD as "Data
Side"(on the bottom) and "Lable Side"(on the Top). Then the actual CD
themselves were shown. Going from Bottom to top, "The Data protector
cover", shown quite thick. Then the Actualy Data Layer. Which is Quite
thin and very fragle. Lastly is a quite thin cover on the Back Side of
the actual Data Layer. which is actualy the label side and the side
from)(Through) which the Data Layer itself is typicaly damaged either by
solvewnt type fluids from Fiber Tip pens(although some actualy try to
Write in the Label Side with Ball Point Pens) or from the adhesive used
by the Stick on Paper Labels.
