I work doing some video, but my job has me doing more still photography.  My 
personal interest has turned to video and one of the reasons for that is my 
desire to "capture" my sport!  I've been windsurfing for about 10 years now.  
Used to be that if the wind was blowin I had no interest in photography, I 
just wanted to be out there!  My passion for the wind has cooled, and now I 
want to shoot video.
I an wondering if the Mt. Hood you refer to is near Hood River on the 
Columbia River ..... one of the BEST windsurfing sites in the world!  If so, 
I also wonder if you have any experience shooting the sailing action?  I'd 
like to "talk" to you about it.
Do you have your own equipment or use what's available from the college?  I 
have a Sony Hi8 camcorder for personal shooting and use a old Sony DXC-M3 
camera and portable 3/4" recorder for work.
