Those glass 'settling bowls' _are_ still available, but I can't remember

Far simpler idea is what I did with my little boat. If you use a
rectangular tank with a flat bottom, mount it at a slight angle both
directions. The lowest corner of mine has a simple petcock for draining
off the water, the opposite corner is about an inch higher, and that's
where I feed the line to the engine.
Works as it should, hassle free, very few parts.
