Pressing enter results in booting from SCSI ID0, selecting BBS-0 in the BIOS boot menue boots from the SCSI CD - after "disk 1 is not ready" followed by Enter key. I know this from an really new ABIT and some Elitegroup mainboards. Switching adapter + Disk + CD + cable onto another mainboard and all works perfectly. When nothing helps one has to fiddle around which PCI slot will able to see the SCSI BIOS and will the mashine boot from it. Not each PCI slot in combination with other PCI cards will be able to handle SCSI in any manner. But at least "drive 1 is not ready" is inevitable until an IDE disk is inerted. -- Tschau/Bye Herbert Rosenau EDV Beratung & Programmierung Lindelbrunnstr. 53a 76767 Hagenbach Tel: 49-7273-919416 Fax: 49-7273-93072 http://www.dv-rosenau.de/ ------------------------ Yahoo!
