eCS 1.2 can installed directly over WARP4, WARP4.50, WARP4.51/ 4.52, 
eCS 1.0, eCS 1.1. The installer will migrate the current desktop to a 
folder on the eCS 1.2 desktop.

Benefits (some, not all):
- all currently available fixes, fixpacks, drivers are in baseinstall 
integrated. So for a while there is no need to run fixes against the 
system.
- installer of eCS 1.2 gets bugfixed and again more userfriendly
   and more flexible
- IBMs mminstall gets replaced
- sees many if not all current sound cards, including AC97
- sound driver gets installed and working during base install
- sound classes gets replaced with better ones
- more, more current codecs included
- sees more, newer network cards during network install
- .....
