Still see them around here....  Apparently the stores you were in either
had sold out of them, or had pretensions to greatness.... ;)  Nothing
like mundane white potatoes needed in those stores... (g)

It can take a little while to get there.... ;)  The soup sounds like a
nice idea.... did you find your white potatoes, or can you substitute
the fancier sorts....?
