I really don't know, I have a Seagate 545MB HDD here that I have been using 
since they came out, 10 - 13 years (?) the 120MB Maxtor I had before it, did 
not last 2 years. I am running another Seagate 6Gig HDD for 7-8 years, and a 
FUJITSU 15Gig has been running for 4-5 years here.
