Randy, I have the same NIC chipset (VIA) on an Epox board.
The VIA.zip available at the nicpak site contains 3 driver sets.
The one you want for the VIA is: FETND.IND and FETND.OS2

Working good here.  BUT: my mb also has 6 onboard USB ctrllers
and I had 4 USB ports loading in eCS 1.01 and it DID NOT WORK.
I had to reduce the USB ports to 3 to get the VIA NIC working.
The most current USB drivers from the eCS site did NOT help.
