What as said, will only fix not multipartite boot sector/MBR
virii, and then maybe not.... it does not find infected files.
Now for the One-Half virus as the virus will decryte the encryted
files when you do the backup with out having to use any special
programs to decryte the drive after removing the virus it does
have some points.
But my fellings on the one-half virus, backup your data ONLY,
remove the virus, and reinstall all software from original write
protected install disks. That way there is no chance that you'll
be restoring an infected file.
The best way is to scan with a updated anti-virus scanner in the
first case and catch the virus before it can do any damage.
