Ahhh, but they *have* been writing these stories.  Since the first
episode this season, Seven's interaction with Janeway and other crewmembers
has been an integral subplot.  We have also seen Seven's dealing with 
the human facets of her personality versus her Borg perspectives.  Indeed,
The Raven focused entirely on that aspect.  This "sexual appeal" aspect
has never been the primary focus--and with the modification of her costume,
explained by the need for her to get to a point where she could heal from
the surgery performed by the HoloDoc that she didn't need the uniform, she
has assumed a more "normal" appearance.  This "Barbie of Borg" label is
superficial--exactly what the character has *not* been.
