Hi Doug, As near as I can tell, IBM does not publish the format of the .INI files. They are subject to change; for example, the format changed between the Coral Pink PDK beta of OS/2 2.1 and the GA release of OS/2 2.1. The only consistent access you will have to them is via the Prf...() API calls. These are documented in the .INF files supplied with the developer's toolkit. You might also find it convenient to use the VX-REXX VRGetIni() and VRSetIni() calls, which are a fairly comprehensive subset of the Prf...() API calls. A more comprehensive REXX function is also supplied with the operating system; SysIni(), in a slightly convoluted way, provides almost all the functionality of the Prf...() API's - it is more comprehensive than Watcom's VX-REXX functions and can be used inside a VX-REXX program.
