I have started going through the Real-World Programming for OS/2 2.1 and I have already stumbled. The return from the hWndFrame = WinCreateStdWindow function is 0. (I left out all the parameters just for this message, of course). I am running an example program (.c) from the book, within Borlands IDE (ver. 1.0). I also tested the IDE environment by using a Borlands example (.cpp), which is fairly similar in function; that is, it just creates a window with some text in it: this example works fine. My question is, in this environment, how do I track down the problem? --- Maximus/2 2.01wb* Origin: OS/2 Desktop * Escondido, CA * 619-743-2511 * V.FC (1:202/344) SEEN-BY: 12/2442 54/54 620/243 624/50 632/348 640/820 690/660 711/409 410 413 SEEN-BY: 711/430 807 808 809 934 942 712/353 623 713/888 800/1 @PATH: 202/344 301 1 3615/50 229/2 12/2442 711/409 54/54 711/808 809 934 |
