it seems to... the disk was NTFS and i had to use the available NTFS dos
driver/tsr... i was finally able to get the data off the box by going way
back in time and using a serial port transfer program called ZIP (not an
archiver)... it took a while for the 400+megs to move over at the 115200
port rate... i tried laplink but it was too memory hungry and wouldn't load
in the 250Kb or so of available base 640 after the NTFS tsr/driver was
loaded...
