JL> As an ex-user of Telix for Windows, it works... It's worked for a little
JL> while now. It just doesn't have all the features they promised.. (last
JL> time I checked)
I lurk in a couple of the Telix conferences, I'm not a Telix 4 Windows
user, so my opinion of it is based on the messages I've read about it.
Judging from the number of messages I used to read about 1.00, all of
the 1.01?, and still a few about 1.10, a lot of the updates weren't
about features but trying to prevent GPFs and fix other problems of
something working on one persons computer but failing or crashing on
someone elses. I'm fairly sure that all of the 1.01? were hasty bug
fixes for 1.00 because they used to tell people to be patient until 1.10
came out which was supposed to be a full rewrite. "Full rewrite",
that's what they called it.
The later versions are probably getting better. But I still feel that
Telix was released to soon and that they used paying customers as beta
testers.
