First of all you should try a newer version: TBAV just reached Nr. 8.01 ;-).
Second: no, McAfee is definitely not better than TBAV, it's much worse. A few
days ago, I've found in VIRUS.GER that McAfee still does *NOT* perform a self
check when being started! Thus it may happen that your whole HD (each .EXE or
.COM on it) will become infected if that piece of **** (censored ;-) is
infected itself by a virus which acts on opening files (DELWIN for example
... exactly this took place a few years ago on the system of a friend of mine
- and TBAV was the program which detected it!).
