Thanks for posting that. I'm really into a lot of
Hungarian music of all types, but especially prog. I have
a freind there with whom I trade CD's so I'll have to
check this out. At the moment I'm expecting any day now a
couple of CD's by the psych band Korai, supposed to be
like Ozric Tentancles and Porky Tree but with a strong
Hungarian folk influence.
I notice I'm hearing the Hungarian singer Marta Sebestyen
on the radio everywhere I go now that she's on Deep
Forest's latest "hit singles" and even heard it in a
shopping mall yesterday. And to think ten years ago
people thought I was weird for listening to her. Of
course, they used to say the same thing about me 25 years
ago for listening to Peter Gabirela nd Phil Collins.
