I will agree that it is very handy for a moderator
to also be a SysOp, but I do not think that should be a
requirement. It helps, tho, for a moderator to be a
good friend with his SysOp. My best friend moderates
three echoes and I send in his ModUpd notices
automatically (well, I don't, my computer does) along
with the update for this one. I guess he could make it
automatic, but I can do so much easier. And I can post
it with Kill Sent, which he couldn't (on this board,
anyway).
I don't know that it matters much - everybody
going to the InterNet now anyway!
