    Why couldn't that be done as part of the language?
    (a == TRUE)
    (a == !FALSE)
    (a == !(0 == 1))
    (a == !0)
    (a == "some other value than zero that a specific compiler uses")
    It should work in all cases, unless I'm messing something.
