Why cause such trouble?  Because you can?  That's pathetic Ward.

You know as well as I do that fidonews is meant to be displayed on fidonet
sysop's sites (whether bbs, ftp or web or whatever).  It is comprised of
mostly contributions from Zone 1 members and each member of fidonet has a
right to display the archives and the content (intact).

Again, how does that change anything?  It doesn't. It certainly doesn't
change the fact that sysop's are expected to display current versions of
fidonews.

Also, I would think it's would be the editor's job to get in touch with
people and ask them to update their contributions.  That's what I do with
the Filegate listings..
