This all started when I posted a newspaper article about a "pirate bay
raid" 
and you (and others) found it offensive.  It was a damn press release for 
gods sake.  It was interesting, and in the spirit of debate should have been 
considered nothing more or nothing less.  I've made several statements 
indicating that "I" could care less what he has on his website because he 
has passworded the area where he was illegally distributing copyrighted 
software (and advertising the site in Fidonews).

As for Bjorn's comments about his hatred for Americans, please ask him to 
stop making them in the echos.  *I don't care how he feels*, but the 
"editor" of ANY newspaper, magazine, or international publication of any 
kind should not be making public statements regarding the HATRED toward an 
body of people and their country because he disagrees with their politics. 
By documenting these facts, you find this offensive.

Get some history straight Michiel.  Bjorn and me were "Friends"
at one time. 
Good god, I was going to have lunch with him and his wife in Germany but he 
couldn't make the ferry that day.  THEN -- our friendship broke up because 
of his anti-American statements he made to "me" and his insults
because I'm 
in the United States military.  THAT was when things went south.  After 
turning the my cheek for too long, I finally decided to start documenting 
his statements.  This was "after" several other sysop had done the same 
thing (one across the Atlantic from me).

Now, here is the conclusion of this little message.   I'd be happy to remove 
that documentation of Bjorn's rants from the Fidonews site at 
http://www.fidotel.com/fidonews if Bjorn will very simply
"promise" to keep 
his tong in check regarding his hatred toward all countries as long as he is 
the editor.  I'd like an apology issued to my country, but he isn't humble 
enough to do that.  **As long as he keeps his promise, I'd be happy to keep 
that documentation off the website.**   I've made this abundantly clear in 
several messages in the echos, and I'm making it abundantly clear now.   If 
this isn't acceptable, then I'll remove that documentation when Bjorn is 
removed or resigns from the position of Fidonews editor.
