My grandmother had a saying:
Convince a man against his will,
And he's of the same opinion still.
I think that applies here. Matthew simply does
not agree with the new standard. And, altho I accept
that the standard exists and must be followed for
publication, it's obvious here that I am so used to
doing the double-spaces that I just do so
automatically. If I were to write a book, I'd have to
do a search and replace last thing before sending it
in!
