PMFJILIDA, but if you want to have another decent introduction to threads    
and the basics of multitasking, Orfali and Harkey's Client/Server Programming
with OS/2 2.1 has an excellent introduction, including an example on thread
priorities and priority classes, balancing multiple threads or processes    
with semaphores.  They throw a lot at you, but there is a lot of descriptive
text so that you really can't get lost.  Cheggitout!
