Reference the untouchable partition in the last 4GB+ of the drive, this will probably be the recovery partition to restore the XP-or whatever that was originally on the dive - back the way it was at manufacturing time - as a BIOS function probably - judging by the type of BIOS in my VAIO Laptop - which hasn't yet seen OS/2-eCS [need bigger drive preferably]. Using either those tools mentioned or DFSee - you can get an iso image from Jan van Wijk of the V6.0 Beta, to burn a bootable CD with all the DFSee versions on it, you can [after cloning that partition to somewhere else if you really need to reinstal ~XP], then change the partition ID and then blow it away. The master Boot Record needs to have "I13X" in location 0x00d5 in the MBR, IIRC. there may be variations between eCS 1.0 and 1.1, depending upon FP-level.
