subject: Moving From Dos To Os/2

RL>. . . I need to learn the new C library for OS/2, to do things like

Looks like you could use Orfali and Harkey's book "Client/Server Programming for
OS/2 2.1", which has in its first example a number of the things you mentioned:
threads, semaphores, text mode color changing, and LOTS LOTS MORE. There is,
BTW, a lot of info about named pipes, APPC, NetBIOS, TCP/IP and DB2/2 along the
way, but they do a lot of text-mode stuff to keep from having to teach PM use,
so I think you will find it useful.
