You're not wrong!  Epson cunningly supplied a few sheets of special paper
with the printer, and the difference in contrast and resolution was
phenomenal.  The question now is "how much is it?".  Haven't
checked, but I heard it was around $30 per 100 sheets of A4.  Ouch.  :(

Depends upon the quality required, I guess.  For my use, precise colour
matching is not a prerequisite, and the savings will be dramatic.
