meant "internal" slot - or did you?

Reminds me a lot of UNIX's uucp - except it is more universal if I
understand this properly. UUCP is what allowed the notion of "UNIX"
machines that could "seamlessly" (?) communicate with each other for
*interprocessing* network style.
Now it sounds like there will be "TCP/IP" machines - a more universal
notion of connecting dissimilar machines and operating systems in one
HUGE worldwide network - Internet(?). Hmmmm.
