ac> Hey now. I've noticed a number of "blank" nodelists
flags in the FidoNet
 ac> nodelist, eg.

 ac> ,10,Under_The_Influence,Morris_IL,Bill_Wolf,1-815-942-2930,9600,CM,XA,H16,
 ac> V 32B ,, V42B,V34,UV32T,VFC

I just had a peek at NODELIST.350 (a bit behind the times), and you're
correct. Very strange. 16 of them in NODELIST.350.

It's also interesting to look at the Makenl errors (;E) - usually
something simple like forgetting the location or baud rate.

;E PVT,46,Punky's_World_BBS,Paula_Stamback,-Unpublished-,-Unpublished-,XX,
  V32B,V42B ;E -- Invalid baud rate -- "XX"

Hmm, first time I've seen a location of "-Unpublished-" (-:

ac> Is this valid? I don't see how it can be particularly useful. :-)

Perhaps someone up there is seeing if any braindead software will barf on
an empty field.

Best wishes, Ro.
