Yes, you have 1 and 2 correct.. However I still have
my volume, and it is drive F: in ECS. Shows up in my
drives folder. I currently have FAT32.IFS remmed out
in my config.sys file so the LVM Physical Disk view
shows it to be unformatted, but will allow me to
change the drive letter or name if I wish. Currently
it reports as:
Volume Name Partition Name Status File System
Size(MB) Type
FAT32 [ P 0 ]
Unformatted 34561 Logical
Yes, Please send me a copy of your documentation of
LVM, as I have been frustrated not knowing how to
create a volume out of an existing partition without
destroying it, and not daring to try. :-)
