BL> ROFL! Just criticise SOT/EOT; Paul goes right off.
BV> You've gotta ask the big questions...
BV> How many readers/tossers know about SOT/EOT ?
BV> How many readers/tossers have been operating for *years* without it ?
BV> How many readers/tossers give a fuck ?
ROFL! I see you are taking my advice. Just watch Paul go off!
It's even worse... it would not be so bad if no one used EOT, but
EOT is an active menace to those with a proper EOT reader.
I can send a false Origin line and a proper mailer will ignore it by
reading from the bottom up. If I send a false EOT in a reader that
does not generate EOT (the usual case) and Paul reads it with his EOT
rerader, it'll truncate the message at EOT.
This means that you and I can send messages in two parts: the top
part for general consumption and...
@EOT:
this part that Paul won't read unless he disables his EOT function.
Now I'll go into the packet and edit out the other EOT.
Regards,
Bob
