Yep, true, Amway may not be the dreaded Pyramid (but an MLM), but perhaps
there's a *reason* that everyone runs for the hills.

I have given several of these MLMs (including Amway) a fair look-in.  From 
the people I've known that are involved, they all have small resistances
to exaggerated sales pitches, and usually are under lots of pressure to
"perform" and "show everyone the plan".  "Wow man,
eternal life? No! We'll
all be mega-rich and reach our goals".  

I went to some gathering of Amway (sorry shAmway) reps with a fair dinkum 
attitude.  I sat through 20 mins of slides on what we will all achieve by
selling these products.   *all* of us.  Apparently there is plenty of it
to go around.  Do you guys actually sell anything?  I don't see you posting
messages in this echo actually *selling* these glorious products from those
companies you listed.  BTW I do agree that the products are good, if not a
little overpriced.  But everytime you see Amway, it's not to sell products,
it's just to join the "organisation" and "show the
plan".  Is it any wonder
that it gets such a bad rep?  People don't like to feel pushed.
