Hi Jake, Welcome to the Heretics and Apostates Club! I don't know if you have tried the IBM or MicroFocus PL/I compilers for OS/2, but they make the older mainframe compilers seem very crude. If you receive the IBM Dev Conn CD you will find a demo copy of the [now discontinued] PL/I Workstation/2. The demo copy is nowhere near as full-featured as the retail version [now called "PL/I for OS/2, Personal Edition"] but it might whet your appetite for some "industrial strength" programming under OS/2.
