Thanks.
Well at 23 Sept 2004: 18:10:50 both UTC , a minute or two ago, I 
connected immediately with hobbes using FTP-PM, so it's up again [at 
least to here], so I think I'll give FTP Host a holiday on this eCS 1.0x 
msystem - might reboot into eCs 1.1 on another partition and see if the 
same problem shows up there too!
