I can guarantee you have something set up wrong, since I use FD and Maximus
under Win95 (and Win98 tomorrow), and it's working well, doors, downloads,
everything.
What are the Winfossil settings for your node?  (ALL the settings.)

Baloney.  It's been more stable for me than DV/DOS ever were.  Again, don't
get excited, and make sure you have things config'd right.  (You don't have
any "exit"s in your batch file that calls the BBS from the mailer, do you?)
