Party time
----------

 This is an invitation to all to be part of a small YAK event. 
Several have expressed interest in having a barby and get 
together on my small hobby farm.

So to avoid having to post a zilion individual messages, I 
decided to do a quick description and invite expressions of 
interest.

Were is it.
----------
 The farm is 5 km from the Shoal haven river where it crosses 
 Oallen Ford, for those a bit hazy on their geography, it is sort 
 of half way between Goulburn and Nowra, travel wise it's towards 
 Goulburn, turn left at Marulen (some 40 km before Goulburn) past 
 Windellema Hall, and continue along the road for another 10 
 minutes or so. Total trip is about one hour out of Liverpool to 
 the turn of and another hour along country road, this includes 
 traversing some 20 km of dirt road in reasonable condition as 
 well.
 
When is it.
-----------
The barby is planned for the long weekend in October (30th till 
3th)two weeks away.

Why is it.
----------
Beats me.

What is there
-------------
 Nothing, it is all hobby farm and bush, nature walks, 
 goldpanning, fresh air, river beaches, canoeing, swimming, 
 hunting, campfires etc. are the only things to do, the nearest 
 pub is a good twenty minutes drive, nearest shop an hour.

Accommodation
------------
 The property contains a semi build house and two buses, so for 
 those hardy individuals who like adventurous living, 
 accommodation can be provided, a total of some twenty people can 
 overnight if desired in various states of discomfort. Some bed 
 positions are available for guest and several more or less 
 comfortable couches around the open fire place are available, 
 internal space to plonk air beds down and 100 acres of camping 
 sites for tents, camper vans and the like are available.


Water
-----
 Water is somewhat at a premium at present and is not to be 
 wasted on mundane things like showers, we need it for toilet 
 flushing (bucket style) so bring beer and a sponge if you like a 
 shower in the morning. (Two bucks buys a proper shower at the 
 caravan park)

Food, drink, bedding, sleeping partners
---------------------------------------
 There are no nearby shops or good looking neighbors, be sure to 
 bring all that's required.


 As said the barby is planned for the Saturday say about one-ish, 
but anybody feeling like staying over the long weekend is 
welcome, I will be there starting Friday 4ish and be leaving 
Monday 3 ish or thereabouts. Please Email if interested preferably 
with phone No and if you are there only for the Saturday barby or 
if you wish to overnight. Please advise No of persons, male, 
female, kids so planning can be done if needed and detailed how 
to get there's can be posted to you, also advise if you have spare 
positions in your car or need transport.

My family and I have spend a weekend down there, and it is rough 
and ready, but manageable for even a day trip if one feels so 
inclined.

BTW, Darth Vader suits and light sabres are optional, but highly 
recommended. :-)
