Hi Charles,
Please try to cut out as much of previous traffic as possible from the
message - it takes ages panning down to see what's needed as well as
using up more bandwidth.
Will get back to you later - a little busy at the moment - but yes
definitely enable the AGP in the BIOS for a start - modem will be on
COM2/IRQ3 whilst COM1 is disabled in the BIOS. If you can determine
whether you have the mouse plugged into one of the lower speed USB1.x
[12Mb/sec] ports or one of the USB 2.x[480Mb/sec] ports - it should
*only* be on a LOW speed USB port - then you can REM out any EHCI USB
entries, for the moment. I'm not sure which of the OHCI/UHCI controllers
would be the applicable one to disable in addition - suck it and see!
you're going to HAVE to open the drop-down side - sounds similar to the
Mac Desktops that also have the motherboard mounted on the side that
drops down - you wouldn't want to get stung by a wasp while opening it
would you, in their case [pun], and look at what's inside it - it won't
bite you!

See ya later.
