| subject: | Re: gas additive |
-> I heard that reccomended 20 years ago... but now manufacurers seem fussy -> obout alcohol in the fuel Except for very old cars that is NOT so. The modern car must be capable or running satisfactory on a 90/10 Gasoline-Alcohol mix becasue of some of the States have Smog laws requiring Alcohol. THANKS to the Political Lobbying of the Corn Growers in the mid west.:-( :-( The problem with the very old cars is that the Gaskets in the Fuel system might not be Alcohol Compatable. --- Platinum Xpress/Win/WINServer v3.0pr5* Origin: Shakey Jake's *ALL FREE BBS* Santee, CA (1:202/1324) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 @PATH: 202/1324 10/3 106/2000 633/267 |
