TODD McCORMICK, THE FIRST FEDERAL MEDICAL MARIJUANA ARREST IN CALIFORNIA
SINCE THE PASSAGE OF PROPOSITION 215, RELEASED ON $500,000 BAIL
PRESS CONFERENCE SCHEDULED FOR THURSDAY AT 10:00 AM AT THE "MARIJUANA 
MANSION"
Cancer patient and longtime medical marijuana advocate Todd McCormick was
released on $500,000 bail just before midnight last night.
Today he must report for additional federal court matters, rest, and "eat 
a lot." McCormick, who has special dietary needs not met in jail, lost 12
pounds during his 14 days in federal custody. He will also be calling
family and friends today and this evening. McCormick was permitted two
six-minute phone calls per day.
Tomorrow (Thursday) he meets the press. The schedule is as follows:
10:00 AM PST:  Press conference at the so-called 
"Marijuana Mansion" 
1605 Stone Canyon Road
Bel Air. 
(Come see for yourself what the government calls a "50-room mansion".
Dress light; there is no air conditioning in this "mansion".)

11:00 AM PST:  Brief, informal one-on-one interviews with McCormick as
press conference disperses.
