Hi Steve,

Yes!  I remember the 8" IBM ones - almost as much a PITA - being
*really* floppy - but they were better than 7-hole ASCII
puched-paper-tape, especially when the toothed drive wheel ripped all
the center paper-feed holes out of the tape, as it accelerated on
startup, e.g. on a PDP-8/9 from DEC  :-(
