GV> CB> If I know in advance that I'm going to be doing to/from a directory
on
GV> It makes sense that tagging should do this ... is the directory in your
GV> path?
No. It was in a 'temp' dir several sub dirs deep and rather than try
and remember how the file & subdirs were named, I just figured that
since tagging it knew where it was at, that it would still remember it
when I started to send the tagged file to attatch it to the message.
GV> How did you get a beta? Anyway, I feel that the last beta was better
I didn't say that I had a beta. I said that to me, there is no
difference between a 1.00 and a beta release. A lot of companies use a
1.00 release to work out the bugs, then release a couple of quick bug
patches. Telix for Windows is an interesting example of that. It's
been out year (or maybe a bit less) and they've already gone through 6
patches and updates and it still doesn't work right. (Or so I've heard
from lurking in the Telix echo.)
GV> Hang it there. TMW is a good product ... but as any 1.00 release, it
GV> is far from perfect. BTW, you probably know, but the next release will
GV> "probably" be WIN32 version as well.
In that case, I certainly wont be running it. (I assume you mean
Win95.) Personally I don't like Windows enough to spend $100 to
downgrade to W96, and then an extra $500 to upgrade my hardware so I can
run it just to do the same things I used to could do on an XT.
