The C64, C128 and C128-D all use different chips so you must specify
which machine you have when ordering.  The chips for the C128 also work
in C64 mode.

They are a peice of piss to install since they are already socketted
(with the exception of some of the early C64's). The come supplied with
detailed instructions and drawings so that even a novice can instal
them.

Well worth the $50 (or thereabouts).
