Hi Tim, Jamie has a good comment. If you want the big engine, then
look at some of the deckboats available. I have seen on alumunum
style which has two fishing seats in the front and can take a 200 hp
engine. Has a canopy and the 'V ' type hull. Its rather fast and is
also a good platform for a party, which includes children. Not as
good as the pontoon boat, but would be better than a bass boat combo
(in my opinion). The deckboat is higher in the water than the bass
boat designs, with more freeboard over the transum.
