Quite likely. Other than that, I don't think a judge would issue a seacrh
warrant on an anonymous tip of an illegal copy of Win95.

We had (have?) this thing called Bussines Software Allience here. It
basically was a point where one could snitch on *companies* using  pirated
software. They made a lot of noise some ten years ago. TV spots, etc, etc.
Now they are very silent. Seems they have faded into oblivion...
