My IE6 is exactly the same as the version above. In para 3, I left click,
then drag the mouse to select a few words of text (not going outside the
first line of the para). Result: First one or two words only are selected.

Last time I tried, it selected a few paras (as if I had left clicked in
para 1, then held down the Shift key and clicked in para 3).
