It was probably more fun for us foreigners than for the US guys.  I'm sure 
glad the border people never asked us about the guitars and amps we had with 
us.  I've heard of a guy being refused at the border since he was accused of 
"going to the States to make money".  All he had was one acoustic guitar.

I haven't changed then, good.  
I'll have to check out airline prices to Portland, there were some cheap 
flights recently.  They might still be available.
