that's my problem exactly, I've tried everything they suggested, nothing
worked so far.

Just as a test, while transferring 18 gig of files I tried to browse the
internet and it browsed really really slow (like 2 minutes to bring up a
page) while browsing from my other laptop on the same network was quick and
crisp as ever.

it's definitely in vista, hard drive barely flickers so I don't think it's
HD speed, cpu is 5%, plenty of memory free..

Next I'm going to completely uninstall IPv6 and the QOS provider.
