Agreed, but I have not yet seen any CD-R/RW drive that could write 
rewriteables at anywhere near the write-once-only speed!
I knew from later postings that Don only used 1x or 2x.

Hi Stephen,

At DSE here in Australia, I found no problem in obtaining 24x Verbatim 
discs, and have a couple of x32 speed CD-RW, so I would have thought you 
could get those in NZ too! I have an ASUS 52x32x52 drive, and what a 
difference with RW/R media from my previous Acer [now Benq!], as that 
was "only" 8x4x32.  All the fast ones I have seen here are 650MB only.
