I was half joking, but a pair of 18's will keep up with rap very nicely,
until you get into very high SPLs. Naturally, they would need to be
fed enough power, so as not to be clipping the amp. The other thing
about 18's is that they tend to track the waveform with a bit of lag,
which does not sound bad with rap, since it tends to have lots of
artificial low end, often quite distorted on the recording. Take care.
