Ever hear that joke about computers and women?.....
Anyway, as a way of alpha-testing my PowerBASIC editor, I have been
developing another editor using my PB-Edit. This one is more suited
for reading QWK-mail. It will have archive search capibility,
auto-wordwrap capibility (wraps as you type), and some other custom
goodies that I don't see in other editors.
I *thought* the word wrap coding would be easy, but I'm not thinking
that now. I just about have it working as it should, but it took me
over a day slaving over it.
My point is this, I have a *very* logical mind when it comes to
computer programming, but when I tried to keep track of this code, I
would get lost. It was simply easier to compile and run, compile and
run, etc. - setting breakpoints and displaying variables.
Oh, the answer to the joke?
'Computers' Sometimes you just can't understand them.
